Wednesday was a very chilly March day around the region. Locally, our highs struggled to hit the lower 40s with a stiff northwest wind at times. Lows then bottomed out well down into the 20s this morning.

A much milder airmass is blowing in here today with highs warming toward the lower 60s. 'Blowing in' are the operative words as winds will really crank out of the southwest. Look for sustained winds in the 15-30mph range with gusts to 35 or 40mph at times. Lows then head into the upper 30s tonight.

Friday will be mild and dry with some clouds arriving during the afternoon.

Our next system then rolls in Saturday. No real changes from me... I still expect some shower chances at times Saturday and Saturday night. However, I do not expect Saturday to be a wash-out, and rain amounts look pretty unimpressive at the moment.

Sunday looks dry, and then our next system will spread in some good rain chances Monday. A cooler pattern will return for much of next week as well.
