YADKIN COUNTY, N.C. -- A domestic dispute turned deadly Saturday in Yadkin County.

The sheriff's office says deputies responded to an assault around 11 a.m. on Union Hill Road in East Bend and found two people stabbed and their suspected attacker still there.

One of the victims was dead at the scene, another went to the hospital and the third was sent to jail on a murder charge.
