WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Winston-Salem police continue their efforts to solve the 2016 murder of 19-year-old Rakem Green.

Police released a video on their Youtube page with the hopes of turning up new information in the case.

Green was shot on Fir Drive in November 2016. He later died on the way to the hospital.

Officials with Winston-Salem police say they believe this case can be solved with cooperation from the community.

"We believe this case can definitely be solved. Mr. Green's companions on the evening in question are not cooperating. We're not getting any cooperation from the community. We're requesting anyone with information to come forward and provide information to help us solve this homicide,” said Detective Sean Flynn. 

Green's death was one of six unsolved homicides during 2016 in Winston-Salem.
