After a foggy start to our Tuesday, we broke into more sunshine by the afternoon.  With the combination of sunshine and southerly winds, we saw a nice warm-up across the region.

We're expecting a similar forecast on Wednesday. With high pressure off the Carolina coast, we will see southerly winds through the night bringing more warm air and more moisture into the state. This will make for more clouds overnight with areas of fog and warm nighttime temperatures.

On Wednesday, we'll start with morning clouds and fog followed by a little more sun and very warm daytime highs. We'll repeat this weather pattern on Thursday.

A cold front will slip across the region by early Friday. This may trigger a few isolated showers and a slight drop in temperatures for the end of the week.
