A warm front is approaching from the southwest today, and as that front nears, we continue to have lots of clouds in place as well as the chance of some mainly light rain and drizzle at times.

As moisture deepens and settles in tonight, a healthy blanket of fog is likely around the region later tonight into Tuesday morning. However, as that fog erodes, a warm weather setup will take over. I expect highs near 70 Tuesday afternoon in spite of a mostly cloudy sky.

As a huge upper level ridge parks itself off the Southeast coast through the week, we will enter a summer pattern, February style. Look for lots of well above average temperatures with highs on most days up into the 70s. We will also have moist conditions, so look for lots of clouds at times with a passing shower possible here or there.

The upcoming weekend continues to look warm as well, and I expect slightly better shower chances to arrive by Sunday.

Be sure and check out today's video for much more.
