THOMASVILLE, N.C. -- More rumors spread about trouble at Triad-area schools in the wake of the Florida shooting.

Additional law enforcement were at Ledford High in Thomasville on Friday after the school system said it received an anonymous threat.

The Davidson Sheriff's office says there were rumors about the threat but nothing credible.

Some students were seen leaving campus and others being picked up.

In Alamance County, the sheriff's office has stepped up a presence at Eastern Alamance High after a threat on social media Thursday.

Both schools were operating on regular schedule.
