We saw another mild weather day on Wednesday, complete with some sun and some clouds.  More clouds are in the forecast for the end of the week as a new weather system takes aim at North Carolina.

As high pressure continues to move out into the Atlantic, this will open the door for a developing area of low pressure to move toward the state.  Southerly winds ahead of this system will pull moisture and warm air into the area.  Clouds will increase tonight with cool overnight lows.

More clouds are in the forecast for Thursday with the chance for spotty showers.  Shower chances will increase from Thursday night into Friday morning.  We may see a lull in the precipitation during the middle of Friday.  By Friday afternoon and night, the main storm system will move across the region.  This will give us the chance for showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Skies will clear as we start the weekend.
