Passing rain showers will track through parts of central North Carolina overnight. Most will miss to the east of the Triad, but a few might occur along and east of I-85. Our western zones, near to I-77 corridor, will likely see no rain at all. The best chance for a shower will be between midnight and sunrise.

A cold front will sweep through Wednesday leading to the return of mostly sunny skies. Colder air will arrive behind the front by Thanksgiving Day, although dry weather conditions are anticipated for the holiday. A slow warm up is set to beginning on Friday and carry into the early part of the weekend.
