ARLINGTON, Texas — Hundreds of protesters took a knee outside AT&T Stadium in Arlington Sunday as the Cowboys hosted the Philadelphia Eagles.

Protesters from the Coalition for Justice and the Justice for All movements, gathered around Tom Landry's statue.

Demonstrators are calling for support for NFL players who kneel during the National Anthem.

"I think it was a sacrifice Colin Kaepernick made,” said protester, Jasmine Crockett. “It was a simple, silent protest and now it seems the narrative has continually changed to something it never was."

The protest ended peacefully.

The Cowboys lost to the Eagles 37-9.
