GREENSBORO -- Seasonably cool and dry high pressure will remain across the Carolinas tonight and then shift eastward on Tuesday. Meanwhile, a low pressure system will develop near the Carolina Coast, but this system will track east of the Triad. So, despite more clouds over the next day or two dry conditions are expected to continue.

Another cold front is set to cross the region on Wednesday. This front will bring an additinal shot of cool air, and as a result Thanksgiving will see temperatures a little below normal. Then, a slow warming trend should kick in on Black Friday and then continuing through this weekend.
