GREENSBORO – Police are investigating an incident where a student was found unresponsive at the University of North Carolina’s Greensboro campus.

According to the school’s Facebook page, a student was found unresponsive by staff members early Friday morning.

A message was sent out to students after police and emergency crews responded to the school’s basketball courts near Aycock Street. Officials say there is no sign of foul play, but an investigation by the Greensboro Police and UNCG Police is underway.

“Our highest priority is supporting the student’s family and providing resources to anyone – students, faculty and staff – who needs help,” the post reads.

Officials say the university’s counsel services are available to offer support.
