A stall cold front across North Carloina will slowly push south of the area tonight and into Wednesday.

However, cloudy conditions will persist and areas of showers will pass through from time to time for the next day or so. Meanwhile, temperatures remain on the chilly side with daytime highs only in the 50s through the end of the week.

Strong high pressure will build in from the north by early this weekend.

That will lead to sunshine, but unfortunately even colder weather for all of the Triad. In fact, we expected to feel to coldest air so far this season by Saturday morning. Look for lows to fall into the upper 20s!
