CHARLOTTE -- City council also approved plans to renovate the former home of Phat Burrito in South End.
Charlotte-based developer Asana Partners bought the old restaurant and another building in march.
They're planning to renovate them and turn it into a restaurant or entertainment venue.
The plan also includes expanding the existing parking area.
Phat Burrito, a popular South End pillar, closed earlier this year.
