GREENSBORO -- Greensboro police are investigating a double murder at a home on Cedar Fork Drive.

Officers responded to a 911 call about shots fired around 4 on Tuesday morning.

When they arrived they found two dead bodies.

Investigators believe this was an isolated incident.

"We have secured a search warrant so we can properly search the location and process the scene so that may take some time. The persons were deceased on arrival. So we are making sure we survey the scene as much as we can. We interviewed people in the area," said Capt. Nathan Davis, Greensboro Police Department.

As of now police do not have a suspect.

This marks the 32nd homicide case for Greensboro police for 2017. For all of last year they handled 39.
