Local flooding is possible this weekend as showers and thunderstorms continue across the region. Ample moisture at all levels of the atmosphere will make for a soggy weekend and a soggy first half of the work week.
Some of the heavy showers and thunderstorms will be oriented in the direction they are moving bringing heavy rainfall totals to some areas. When this training of the rain occurs, localized flash flooding is possible.
Rainfall totals of one to four inches are possible from this weekend through Wednesday. A few areas could see higher amounts.
As of now we see drier weather towards the end of the work week.
