RALEIGH -- Whether you’ve been married or just attended a wedding in your lifetime, you probably can relate to the antics and theatrics that make up the popular Broadway hit It Shoulda Been You. The wildly popular musical is taking center stage in Raleigh thanks to Theatre in the Parks.

Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair sat down with the show’s director, Jackson Cooper, for a look at what makes the play so special. 

Following a Jewish bride and a Catholic groom as they get set to marry, this funny and charming musical takes us inside the couple’s wedding day. And let’s just say everything doesn’t go as planned.

If you would like to come out and take in a show, it runs June 15-16, 21-23, and 29-30 at 7:30 p.m. 

Performances will also take place on June 17 and 24, and July 1 at 3 p.m.

Tickets cost $30 for adults and $24 for students, seniors 60 and up, and members of the military.

Meanwhile group tickets of 10 or more can be purchased for $20.
