CARY, N.C. -- Just in time for the holidays, Cary’s Booth Amphitheatre is transforming into a stunning display of culture as the North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival lights up the Tar Heel State again.  The outdoor venue is hosting the mega light display Nov. 24 - Jan. 14.

More than 90,000 people out to see the displays last year alone, leading to the third consecutive year the event decided to return to the Triangle location.  Town leaders say the outpouring of support is allowing the festival to return for four more years.

This year, the show will feature 20 new displays, each showcasing hundreds of parts, and thousands of LED lights. This year’s festival will house all new display except for the popular fan favorite, the Chinese Dragon on Symphony Lake.

Tickets can be purchased through etix.com or Booth Amphitheatre Box Office.
