Nana-Sentuo Bonsu started working at Spectrum News in Oct 2016 as a multi-media journalist in the Triad newsroom. Before moving to North Carolina her first job was at a local television station called E. Ghana, in West Africa Ghana. She took on different roles from interning, general assignment reporter to co-hosting the morning news show. Within the two years she was there, she covered stories from the Ebola outbreak to the power crisis.
Nana-Sentuo is from northern Virginia, also known as the DMV area. She received her broadcast journalism degree from THE Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, in 2014.
Outside the newsroom, NS enjoys planning mini events with the help of Pinterest, brunching after church on Sundays and traveling back to Accra to visit her family.
NS is excited to be in North Carolina where she has access to different types of BBQ, numerous breweries and that good-ole Southern hospitality.
