CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police believe they have found the man responsible for an attempted sexual assault at Park Road Shopping Center last month.
They say 30-year-old Travis Blakley robbed a woman on Montford Drive on November 16 around 1 a.m.
About an hour later, a woman reported she was using an ATM about a block away on Woodlawn Road when a man forced himself into her car and took her to another location where he tried to rape her.
Blakley is charged with firstdegree attempted rape, kidnapping, armed robbery and strangulation.
