WILMINGTON, N.C. -- After a week of wet weather, drier weather has returned and will last through the weekend and beyond. Skies will be sunny today with light and variable winds. High temperatures will reach the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Clear skies overnight with lows in the low to mid 40s. It will be mostly sunny Sunday and warmer with highs in the mid 60s.

The outlook for Thanksgiving keeps the dry weather pattern around for the southeastern United States. Temperatures Wednesday and Thursday will reach the upper 50s and lower 60s.
