After a day of nearly 2" of rainfall in Wilmington (and a stretch of active weather days preceding that), we'll finally enjoy a period of dry days beginning Friday!

Mainly dry conditions are expected to continue across the coast through at least Thanksgiving, with zero to minimal rain chances over the next seven days.

Gusty winds will prevail through Friday morning across the coast before winds weaken by late Friday afternoon. Across the entire coast, expect skies to clear throughout the morning and sunshine to return... finally! While the sunshine makes a comeback, temperatures will still remain cooler than average as highs only manage to reach into the low to mid/upper 50s. Gear up for another cold, but clear, night ahead, with lows cooling back down into the low/mid 30s.

Saturday into Sunday and even next week will feature plenty of sunshine and dry weather. Look forward to a warming trend beginning this weekend with highs warming to near 67 by Sunday in Wilmington. A dry cold front will pass through the area Monday and bring a cool down Tuesday into the Thanksgiving. For now, Thanksgiving is looking beautiful, with sunshine highs in the upper 50s and low 60s!
