ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. – It has now been over a week since 13-year-old Hania Aguilar was kidnapped from her front yard in Lumberton. Lumberton Police, Fort Bragg Military Police, and the FBI are now involved in the search using drones and the K9 unit.

Officials have increased the reward for information on her kidnapping to a total of $30,000, $25,000 of that from the FBI and $5,000 from the state.

Hania is a Hispanic female, is 5 feet tall and weighs 126 pounds.

Aguilar was taken on Monday, November 5 shortly before 7 a.m.

She was forced into an SUV parked in her driveway that belonged to a relative by an unknown individual. It is thought that the SUV was probably running at the time, and that may have presented an unplanned opportunity to the suspect.

The suspect is thought to have been a stranger to Hania.

That SUV was found on Thursday in a wooded area about 12 minutes from the house. It is not known when it was left there.

At this point, it is unknown what, if any, vehicle Hania might be in.

Lumberton Police released a series of videos that show an individual walking in the area shortly before the kidnapping took place.

That individual is still unidentified.

Not knowing who the kidnapper could present an extreme problem as Hania could now be anywhere in the state or country.

The State Highway Patrol used their helicopter to transport evidence from the scene to Quantico in Virginia for the FBI to study. They're waiting on results and are hoping evidence will lead to them finding her.

Officials are asking the public to keep sharing Hania’s picture and to keep an eye out for her while in public. They also ask the public to stop spreading false rumors about her disappearance.

If you know any information that may help bring Hania home, please call the Lumberton Police Department at  910-272-5871.
