WILMINGTON, N.C. -- The skies will gradually clear for Saturday and temperatures will remain on the cool side of average. A small craft advisory is posted for the offshore waters. Highs will reach the mid 60s across the region today. There will be more sunshine with highs in the upper 60s for Sunday.

Halloween is looking great with dry weather and seasonal temperatures. Highs will reach the low to mid 70s Wednesday.

Subtropical storm Oscar has formed in the Atlantic but it is expected to take a quick turn to the north on Monday and move northward through the Atlantic.

Any threat to the US would be rough surf conditions along the coast this week.
