HICKORY, N.C.--  A Hickory woman is in custody in connection to the shooting death of a teenager. 

Cheyenne Kenniston, 20, is accused of shooting Katlyn Wittcop, 17, on July 28.

She is charged with second degree murder.

Kenniston is being held Catawba County Detention Facility under a $100,000 bond.
