ANGIER, N.C. – Johnston County sheriff’s deputies are investigating after two 14 years olds were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide.

  • Two 14 year olds are dead after an apparent murder-suicide.
  • It took place Monday afternoon.
  • It is unknown at this time who the shooter was.

At approximately 5:31 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to a home on Clayton Road in Angier in regards to a shooting situation.

Upon arrival two 14 year olds, a boy and a girl, were discovered deceased in the home. The male was a resident at the home and his father discovered the bodies.

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office in collaboration with the State Medical Examiner’s office determined the deaths to be the result of a murder-suicide.

It is unclear at this time who the shooter was.

Due to the ages of the deceased, their names will not be released.
