WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Back door cool front will sag into eastern North Carolina.

  • Not much of a chance for showers Sunday
  • Rain chances should ramp up later Monday
  • The low out near Bermuda could enhance showers later in the week

We don't really expect much of a chance for showers Sunday. Perhaps, a brief passing shower if you are standing in the right spot.

Rain chances should ramp up later Monday and we'll expect scattered showers and storms, in the daily forecast mix, for most of the week. What we don't need is heavy rain for areas that have flooded, or will still be dealing with flooding.

The low out near Bermuda could enhance showers later in the week if it tracks near the coast.  As of this post, Florence it is not, nor should it be if named. It will have a short window for development as conditions by Wednesday, don't appear to be good for organization.

Keep tracking.
