WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Bitty and Beau’s is back to serving joe in Wilmington!

The coffee shop known around the world for employing people with disabilities closed during Hurricane Florence, but now they're back open for business.

While the shop wasn't damaged itself, they say they know the community is, so they want to do something to help.

"Now that we're open we get to -- we're going to be serving free coffee all weekend long because of what the hurricane did to us and how traumatic it was, and we want our community to come and be welcomed back again,” said Jackie Colton, assistant manager.

Employees say they're happy to back in the shop working and seeing some familiar faces again.
