Florence is likely to be a major hurricane again by Tuesday. It is forecast to be a Catagory 4 with 140+ mph winds on Wednesday and Thursday as it approaches the Carolina coast. A direct hit is looking more likely but it is not a certainty. There is still a chance that Florence could turn north before the eye reaches land. Either way, the impacts will be significant. A direct hit would be catastrophic with significant storm surge and inland flooding, major wind damage, tornadoes and widespread power outages. Make sure to do your hurricane prep work as soon as possible. Supplies will be more difficult to come by as time goes on so get what you need now. Stay safe out there!
