ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. -- The State Bureau of Investigation says an Onslow County deputy has been arrested after they found child porn at his residence.

Mark Perrigo's, 50, home was searched on Aug. 7 by the SBI following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about a person viewing child sexual exploitation material.

Perrigo was arrested and charged with nine counts of third degree exploitation of a minor.

He was placed under a $30,000 secured bond and is being held at the Onslow County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing.
