CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte Hornets fans can start marking their calendars.

The NBA's regular season schedule was released Friday afternoon, just about two months away from opening night.

The bugs will start their campaign at home for the first time since 2014 when they host the Milwaukee Bucks on Oct. 17 at the Spectrum Center.

 Other home games of note

Steph Curry and the defending champion Golden State Warriors will be in town on Monday, Feb. 25.

The king, Lebron James, will visit the Queen City Saturday, Dec. 15 with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Eastern conference favorites Boston come to the Spectrum Center twice: Nov. 19 and March 23.

The regular season finale will be at home against the Orlando Magic on April 10. It's also the only nationally televised game on the Hornets' schedule.
