The nearly 1,400 square foot home was set to auction Thursday, but received no bids at the $65,000 asking price.

The home features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, walk-in closets and a laundry room.

"The experience that these kids get, actually framing this house, sanding the walls, setting the trusses. It’s just valuable hands-on experience for them."

The county board of education has set a new auction date for Aug. 6.

Proceeds raised from the home will go to materials to build the next house.
