High pressure sliding off the eastern seaboard brought high temperatures and dew points across the Carolinas for Sunday; looks like above normal temperatures will start off the workweek.

We have been in a quiet weather pattern the past couple of days, but we are expecting a return to scattered showers and thunderstorms as we head back to work.

Expect a partly cloudy day Monday with similar highs in the upper 80s to mid 90s for many. Only few isolated showers and storms will be possible through the afternoon and evening.

A cold front will begin to slide through our area late Tuesday and stall to our south Wednesday. This will bring a good chance of showers and thunderstorms late Tuesday and into Wednesday.
