BIDDEFORD, Maine — Former President George H.W. Bush has been released from the hospital in Maine after being admitted last Sunday, according to his spokesperson.

According to spokesperson Jim McGrath, Bush was taken to Southern Maine Health Care on Sunday, May 27, after experiencing low blood pressure and fatigue.

On Saturday, May 26, the former President attended the monthly pancake breakfast at the American Legion Post 159 in Kennebunkport, Maine. According to the Associated Press, Bush arrived in Kennebunkport last week has spent part of every summer in Kennebunkport since childhood.
