RALEIGH, N.C. – “Animazement” is underway in Raleigh.

  • More than 14,000 people expected.
  • Event celebrates the world of Japanese visual culture through anime, video games and martial arts.
  • It's being held at the Raleigh Convention Center.

The celebration of popular Japanese visual culture runs through Sunday and more than 14,000 people are expected to attend.        

There are seminars and opportunities to meet artists and like-minded fans and check out the awesome costumes.

It's happening at the Raleigh Convention Center.

Hours are Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

You can still purchase tickets at the door. It’s $70 for all three days or $55 if you just want to go on Saturday.
