WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Coastal Living recently named Wilmington as one of the "10 Under the Radar Beaches That are About to Be Huge."

Wilmington along with with Kappa, Hawaii, were the only two U.S. beaches to make the list.

Coastal Living elaborated on its choice by describing Wilmington as a "natural beauty that makes it a popular spot for Hollywood film crews, but tourists are also drawn here for its family-friendly activities and growing farm-to-table food scene."
