WILMINGTON, N.C. – Police are searching for a Wilmington man who they say stabbed his ex-girlfriend Tuesday evening.

• Rolandy Beatty is accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend.
• Police say Beatty used a fake Facebook account to lure his ex to McRae Street.
• Victim last listed in serious condition.

They say 25-year-old Rolandy Beatty lured the woman to the 900 block of McRae Street using a false Facebook account.         

The victim told police that Beatty stabbed her several times, took her phone and ran away.

She was taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center in serious condition.

Beatty is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
