WILMNGTON, N.C. -- Breezy warm conditions for Wednesday will give way to cooler air behind a cold front that has moved through the region.

Chilly air arrives overnight bringing the need for a jacket Friday morning as lows drop into the mid 30s to mid 40s.

Cooler days in the forecast as we head towards the weekend. Highs Friday will range through the low to mid 60s warming to mid to upper 60s for the weekend. Plenty of sunshine is expected for the weekend, clouds will be on the increase Monday night with our next chance of rain on Monday.
