WILMINGTON -- This year's Azalea Festival historic home tour kicks off Saturday with 11 beautiful homes.

Many have fascinating stories to tell and one was even lived in by former President Woodrow Wilson.

All funds raised go to help preserving historic homes.

“Without fundraisers like this we couldn't have saved over 100 buildings that we have in the last 50 years. We couldn't advocate and educate about preservation in our area," said Christine Divoky, Wilmington Historic Preservation Foundation.
