NATIONWIDE -- The planned closings of Toys R Us and Babies R Us are giving some expectant moms one more thing to worry about.

Mothers-to-be who created registries at Babies R Us are learning many items on their wish lists are already out of stock.

“It's, oh my goodness, it's horrible! Over half of my stuff is no more, it's gone,” said expectant mother Ariel Rosales.

Rosales said out of 73 registered items, only nine are still in stock.

Another disappointment for many families -- Babies R Us used to provide a gift card totaling 20 percent of all sales from a family's registry.

But after April, that goes away too.

Gift cards will be accepted for another 30 days, but the stores are no longer accepting coupons.
