After Monday's rainy conditions, brighter weather is expected all day Tuesday.

Tuesday's sunshine will not warm temperatures up very much though. Highs in most of eastern North Carolina will top out in the low to mid 50s around mid-afternoon. In northeastern North Carolina and the Outer Banks, highs may only reach the mid and upper 40s.

The storm system that brought rain and snow to North Carolina Monday has become another Nor'easter producing blizzard conditions at times today in Boston.

While that storm is far away from us, it will still make for a breezy day. Wind gusts up to 25 to 30mph will be possible through Tuesday.
