After a wintry weather start to the week on Monday, we saw chilly temperatures on Tuesday but we also saw the return of sunshine!  More sun is in the forecast for Wednesday along with more chilly daytime highs.

A system will move across North Carolina late tonight and early Wednesday morning.  This disturbance will trigger some clouds and it might even trigger a few snowflakes and sprinkles as it moves through.  We are not expecting any issues with travel due to this system.

We will see more sun and a few clouds on Wednesday, along with breezy conditions and below average daytime temperatures.

After another cold start on Thursday morning, the combination of sunshine and southerly winds should bring the Coastal Plain milder weather for the end of the week.
