Warm and wet as we finish off the weekend.  In advance of an approaching cold front southerly winds will keep temperatures well above normal into Sunday. We’ll see showers move into the eastern part of the state during the afternoon where there could a rumble of thunder.

Cloudy and cooler Monday with some remaining showers then sunshine returns for Tuesday. Continued warm for the rest of the work week, but don’t put away the winter clothes just yet.

Long range models are predicting a return to colder weather around the first full week or March. We shouldn’t see the frigid temperatures we experienced in early January, but freezing temperatures overnight are definitely possible well into the month of March.
