A warm front lifting through eastern North Carolina Monday will bring warm temperatures to the region that should last through the week. In fact, Monday's highs in the 60s to low 70s may end up being some of the coolest of the work week.

The warm front will keep mostly cloudy skies across the region through Monday with the chance for just a few spotty showers.

Some sun should return Tuesday as we look for partly sunny conditions. Temperatures will warm to the mid 70s across much of inland eastern North Carolina.

Wednesday and Thursday should be even warmer with highs approaching 80 near Wilmington and Jacksonville.
