NATIONWIDE -- You'll need to take a second look at your kids' candy come Halloween.

Law enforcement officers say some of it may be infused with chemicals found in marijuana plants.

They believe the candy is coming from vapor shops across the country.

Investigators say it's hard to tell by looking at the wrapping if it has this chemical.

"One of the issues we've run into is the packaging of these products will indicate there's no THC content, whereas our results from the state crime lab have proven counter to that," said Special Agent Kelton Brown, Alcohol Law Enforcement.

Officials say parents should always be suspicious of every piece of candy their kids have.

If it doesn't come fully wrapped with labels, throw it out.
