WILMINGTON -- Another local, healthy-choice grocery store could be joining Farmin' on Front in the move to downtown Wilmington.
Tidal Creek Co-op, located off Oleander, has been looking at moving to that area for awhile now, and it could happen in the near future.
Tidal Creek Co-op Marketing Coordinator Shaylah Paul said downtown is the perfect location for their natural food store, with major growth expected in the next few years.
"There's a real need for fresh foods and a full service grocer there, so much so that the area is actually considered a food desert. And there's an existing population that's already thriving," said Paul.
