Durham— The 23rd World Beer Festival is taking over the Bull City this weekend, featuring dozens of the country and state's best brews.  There will be two bands for beer drinkers to listen to, and a bit of nostalgia with the ‘Merca’ section with American beers your father would remember.  But the fun festival also offers a learning experiences for those who come out.  Spectrum news anchor Caroline Blair sat down with the festival’s founder Daniel Bradford, for an inside glimpse at what you can expect.

For the first time, this year's festival will be broken down into a neighborhood style event, offering different sections for festival goers to visit: NC Beers, 'Merica Beers, International Beers, Hard Cider/Seltzer, VIP Beers, Triangle Beers, and National Beers.

The World Beer Festival takes over the Durham Bulls Athletic Park Saturday, October 6th for two sessions.  The first session runs from 12pm-4pm, while the second session runs from 6pm-10pm.  Tickets are still available and can be purchased on the festival’s website.
