RALEIGH -- The world of space exploration has come a very far way over the last three decades since NASA launched the Hubble Space Telescope back in 1990.  And now, two new breathtaking images were revealed on the 28th anniversary, a testament to the tireless work and longevity of this ongoing innovation.

NASA Scientist Dr. Jeffrey Hayes sat down with Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair  from NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland, where he shared these incredible images of the Lagoon Nebula.  Dr. Hayes even described in detail how we at home can see the nebula, just not in as great of detail.
