In 2016, political costumes were a must-have for Halloween. Trump heads and Clinton pants suites were selling almost everywhere.  

Now that election season has come and gone, will that still be the case?

According to CNN, data from the National Retail Federations shows that 1.5 million adults are will get political with their look for Halloween. This number is down from 1.7 million last year.

According to retailers, politics are considered mainstream popular culture. These costumes are in the top 10 for most popular getups.
