WILMINGTON--

A partnership between two groups is providing jobs of making hammocks to those living in poverty, while also giving them a sense of self-worth and stability. Time Warner Cable News anchor Tara Herrschaft shows us how Hammocks for Hope is impacting lives along the coast.

As they work to spread their message of hope the for-profit is looking to expand, so folks like Richard Easter can eventually train others.

While the hammocks are made in Wilmington, the fabric is ordered from Durham.
