RALEIGH, N.C. – Raleigh police are looking for a man who broke into a woman’s home and raped her.

  • A woman was raped in her home on Beacon Village Drive on November 3.
  • The attacker hinted he had a knife.
  • Police are looking for leads.

Police say the crime happened on Beacon Village Drive on November 3. Since then no arrests have been made, and they are looking for leads.

The suspect broke in through a sliding glass door around 8 a.m. that Saturday morning.

The victim, a 49-year-old woman, tried to fight off the suspect, but says he hinted he had a knife.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall, with a lean build, short hair, scruffy facial hair, and is a smoker.
